How far along? 33 Weeks
Size of Baby: Durian Fruit (17 inches long, 4.5+5 pounds)
Waist: 41 in.
Total weight gain: 24 pounds. Gained another two pounds, but I'm not surprised considering how I have been eating lately.
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? Just the ones on my hips and under my breasts. Nothing new.
Sleep: I don't know what I would do without our King bed. The queen at the Lake on our babymoon was probably the most uncomfortable bed ever. Todd and I were basically laying on top of each other and I felt like I was awake most of the two nights just trying to get comfortable. Needless to say, coming home to our bed was heaven. Even though sleep still wasn't the best once at home, at least I was more comfortable! I have been getting a lot of BH contractions during sleep lately though. I think due to being dehydrated? Todd is getting on to me about drinking more water. He watches out for me pretty good.
Best moment this week: We had a great time on our babymoon. Granted there is not much to do at the Lake this time of year, we still had a relaxing getaway.
Miss anything? I feel like an old woman the way I get sore and achy after doing minimal things. Its hard to put on/take off my shoes and pants. So I definitely miss not feeling that way after doing everything.
Movement: Still have a lot of pronounced movements! Its fun to just sit back and watch my belly move. Its usually hard to tell what body part is making all of the movements, but I know I feel his butt up against my ribs a lot, which makes it hard to bend sometimes. I think he is moving his arms more than his legs; most of the movements seem to be lower. I still feel hiccups really low near my pelvis.
Food cravings: Dove chocolate again...which is perfect since it was just Valentine's Day.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks contractions.
Symptoms: All the usual's still. Aches and pains, get tired walking, walk really slow, constipation...you name it, I have it
Belly button in or out? Out.
Wedding rings on or off? On. I do feel like my fingers are swelling up now.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our baby shower this Sunday!
Fact: The bones in his skull are formed, but aren't fused. They actually don't fuse entirely until early adulthood, allowing room for his brain to grow throughout childhood. Because they aren't fused, the bones in his skull will be able to overlap, helping him to fit through the birth canal during delivery. (-Everyday Family)
I look huge!
